We supply, deliver, install and support CNC and fabrication equipment across South Africa. Here’s how orders and lead times work with Feature Equipment.
Workshop managers often ask how quickly we can deliver, what affects lead times, and what the process involves. For most of our equipment, lead times depend on the machine family, current stock or build schedule, and your location. We deliver and install across Gauteng, KZN, the Cape, and all major industrial towns.
Local factors can influence timing. Power cuts, municipal repairs, and regional holidays sometimes slow things down. For coastal buyers, port and weather delays may affect crated machines. If your site needs special access, a new electrical supply, or extra paperwork, please let us know early on so we can help you plan.
We are experienced with both first-time buyers and established production teams. If you need to coordinate the installation around other projects or training, we’ll work with you to make sure timing is practical.
To give you a clear answer on lead time, delivery and installation, we need certain details up front. The more you can tell us about your requirements, the better we can support you from the start.
Once you contact us through our form, we review your details and check machine availability, lead times, and your site requirements. We may call to clarify any technical points, especially if your application needs custom fixtures or planning.
When you are ready to proceed, we book your delivery and installation dates based on your site’s readiness and our team schedules. For all new electrical connections, a registered electrician must issue a Certificate of Compliance as required by SANS 10142-1. Our team will run through safety, machine guarding, and operator training at handover.
If you are buying as an individual or a business below the R2 million threshold, the Consumer Protection Act applies to warranty and return queries. For larger companies, we handle returns and support according to your agreed terms.
