What to expect at delivery

Your Feature Dust Cell arrives from our Sunnyrock dispatch in a sealed crate or box, with all filter stages and fittings checked before loading. On site, our team unpacks the system, checks for any transit movement and matches the filter stages to your machine mix. For coastal or Highveld sites, we wipe down and oil any exposed metal surfaces to protect from rust or static.

We confirm your bay power supply is compatible: 230 V single-phase, earthed according to SANS 10142-1. If you need a new circuit, a registered electrician must handle the installation and certificate. Once sited and plugged in, we run a first air test to check suction and stage integrity, making sure all ducting and blast gates are sealed.

Installation, commissioning and operator handover

After mechanical setup, we fit extraction hoses and test each machine or bay connection, adjusting inlets and checking airflow with filter pressure cues. We also set up the filter change indicator and walk you through the on-off controls, maintenance access and safe duct cleaning steps.

Operator training covers the hazard markings, filter stages, and dust collection principles as required under the OHS Act and the Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Agents. We include practical handover notes, a filter swap record, and show you how to clear a minor blockage safely. Ashlin Gounden from our team is available for follow-up queries or refresher sessions.

Routine maintenance for the Feature Dust Cell

Good dust control means regular care. We recommend a simple routine to keep suction strong, filters clean, and dust exposure low. Skipping maintenance can lead to dust leaks, fines, or machine faults.

Stick to these intervals and record all swaps or checks on the included care sheet. For coastal sites, check for filter damp or rust monthly. Do not use compressed air to clear the filter stages, as this can breach the filter seals.

How to request service or order spares

If you need service, filter packs, or have a fault, send us a message using our contact form. Include your Dust Cell serial number, a brief fault description or photo, and your location. For spares, let us know which filter stage or accessory you need, our team tracks all supplied models and can guide you on fitment.

We dispatch most filter packs or small parts by courier countrywide. For breakdowns or major servicing, we schedule an on-site call according to your shift plan and power cut risk. Our Sunnyrock team holds spares and can advise on urgent swaps during your downtime.
