When your Feature Plasma Compact arrives, it comes crated and prepped for your workshop floor. Our team delivers across South Africa, whether you are in the Highveld, at the coast or inland. We arrange delivery with your team to minimise disruption and plan for any access or offloading requirements.
All critical accessories, torch components, manuals and care documentation arrive together, so there is no unpacking guesswork. For larger workshops, we help site the table for safe workflow and clear access to power, air and extraction.
Installation is handled by our trained team, who set up the plasma table, connect the electrical supply and compressed air, and check for clean, dry air at the torch. We work with your electrician if a new circuit is needed, in line with SANS 10142-1 and the OHS Act. All safety guards, torch height controls, and fume extraction are checked before powering up.
Commissioning includes test cutting with your material to check cut quality and machine response. Key parameters like pierce height and cut height are adjusted for your steel and air supply. We also show you how to re-home axes and recover from power cuts or outages common in some areas.
We provide practical operator training for your shift leads, foreman and machine users at handover. Every session covers safety procedures, torch handling, consumable change, and how to use the CNC controls and pendant. Special attention is given to safe operation around plasma arcs and moving axes.
We leave you with quick-reference cards, care guides and a contact point for follow-up. Handover is not rushed: your team can ask about specific cut jobs, part files, or recovery steps after a power cut. All training is aligned with the OHS Act, ensuring your operators are safe and compliant.
Routine care keeps your Feature Plasma Compact cutting accurately and extends consumable life. Assign daily, weekly and monthly checks to your team and record actions in your job book or tool crib.
Clean, dry compressed air is critical: drain air lines and filters daily. Check torch consumables after every shift and replace worn tips or electrodes. Keep exposed rails lightly oiled, especially in coastal or humid areas.
If you need service, technical support or spare parts, send us a message using our contact form. Please include your machine serial number, a brief fault description, and photos if possible. This speeds up diagnosis and parts matching.
For consumables or accessories like torch tips, filter packs or crate brace kits, tell us your machine model and what you need. Our team will advise on correct parts and fitment. For breakdowns, let us know your location so we can plan service support.
