What to expect at delivery

Your Feature Router 1212 arrives on a crated pallet, securely packed for handling on-site. We use local bakkie delivery or rigging partners for Gauteng and arrange national transport when needed. Our team confirms the location, access and any special requirements before arrival.

We check that the offloading area is clear and make sure there is a safe path to the machine’s operating spot. For tight workshops, we can supply crate brace kits and vacuum table pads as needed. All crates and pallets for export meet ISPM 15 requirements.

Installation, commissioning and handover

Installation is handled by our trained team, who position and level the router, connect power and extraction, and check all cabling. For three-phase models, a registered electrician must do the final supply connection and issue a Certificate of Compliance to meet legal and insurance requirements.

Commissioning includes software setup, axis referencing, spindle checks and basic test cuts. Our handover session covers operation with the USB controller and pendant, vacuum bed use, and safety procedures for guarding and emergency stops. We ensure each operator is comfortable with setting up jobs, safe tool changes and re-homing after outages.

Operator training and routine maintenance

We provide hands-on operator training on your first jobs, showing safe and efficient workflows. Our trainers cover correct fixturing, using the spindle kit, and dust extraction. We also give maintenance checklists to reduce downtime and avoid costly repairs.

Following a regular maintenance routine helps prevent faults and keeps your Feature Router 1212 in top condition. Noise and dust controls are highlighted for compliance with OHS regulations.
