Feature Engraver Pro is a true desktop class engraver, compact enough for a small workshop table but solidly built for daily use. The included clamp tray fixture holds your blanks or pieces steady, so you get crisp lettering, logos and profiles every time. With support for both V cutters and ball nose cutters, you can choose the right tool for sharp script, deep grooves, or smooth bevels on a wide range of materials.
This engraver is made for the kind of work you see in jewellery production, trophy engraving and custom awards. If your work involves frequent setup changes or small batch runs, the clamp tray makes it quick to load and secure each piece. The result is a machine that fits in Gauteng shops, but is equally suited to small studios in Cape Town, Durban or Gqeberha.
Feature Engraver Pro runs on South Africa’s standard 230 V single-phase supply, so there’s no need for special wiring beyond a clean, grounded plug point. Place it on a flat, sturdy workbench with at least 750 mm clear space in front and on both sides for comfortable loading and unloading.
Dust generated from engraving needs to be managed according to the Hazardous Chemical Agents Regulations. If you engrave brass, aluminium or wood, a small dust and fume extractor such as our Feature Dust Cell is recommended. For workshops on the Highveld, keep the machine’s rails lightly oiled, and at the coast, cover it when not in use to reduce rust risk. Dont forget to keep the work area clear of offcuts and swarf, as these can interfere with the clamp tray and tool movement.
This engraver takes both V bits and ball nose cutters, so you can cover everything from fine text to gentle bevels. The clamp tray fixture is standard, giving you flexible holding for metals, plastics and even some woods. You can add an extra set of cutters or a collet tray for organised storage and quick changes between jobs.
All bits and collets are stocked locally in Gauteng for quick replacement. If you want to do deep profiles or swap between fine and coarse work, consider adding a set of specific engraving bits. We also offer filter stage packs for dust cells, keeping your workspace clean and compliant.
